Shenzhen is a city that is sometimes called 'the sillicon valley of China', which means that it is a high-tech city and I am very interested in technology, also because I am currently doing my masters in business information management. Next to that, I wanted to study mandarin in a city that is large with a large population, but where people don't speak too much English such as in Beijing or Shanghai. This gives me the opportunity to immediately put the things I learn into practice in daily life. Since Shenzhen University is the best university in Shenzhen, these reasons made Shenzhen University a perfect fit to choose to study mandarin. I also read that there are many international students studying at Shenzhen University and that the facilities are good.
