As far as I can remember I have always wanted to become a doctor, because of my interest in human body and because of my need to help people who are suffering. I am aware of the challenges and the commitment that this course requires but I am determined to help people and will do my best to achieve my goals. I have participated in voluntary work in Australia in Austin Hospital and I am aware of the day to day work routines of doctors and surgeons. Furthermore, I have obtained a degree in Biomedical Science from Deakin University while working part time at McDonalds. I have developed excellent analytical and practical skills by doing Biomedical Science. I have become acquainted with people from different social backgrounds which have broadened my social understanding. My voluntary work has given me the opportunity to work with patients empathetically without being emotionally attached to the patient and be highly sensitive to their needs. My part time job has allowed me to develop excellent time management skills and by handling difficult customers I have learnt to remain calm in difficult situations. I believe this programme will allow me to develop skills that I require in fulfilling my dreams.
