I not only admire Zhejiang University for being ranked within the top 100 universities in the world, I admire it for being one of the oldest yet one of the most modern Universities in China. Most importantly I have a passion for helping people, which is why I wish to study medicine. For an international student like myself I have researched many medical establishments and this one in particular caught my attention. The fact that there are so many teaching hospitals is quite something as in South Africa there are less than 5 really well established teaching hospitals. It would be an honour being selected to study at this university. China is quickly becoming number one in the world with regards to the newest science, technology and business and for me to be a part of something that great would motivate me to do my absolute best and advance the medical faculty as best I can.
