I got to know this university due to the research I made on internet, and also thanks to the positive comments posted by current students of the university. This really pushed me to know more about it and the facilities the university offers. To begin, the university offers great educational facilities which is what I need to become an expert in the field I wish to pursue. However, it is true that some other countries also provide these facilities but I am really passionate about China. I love the Chinese culture and I find it very interesting. I truly want to know more about the Chinese customs and lifestyles, and what is the best way of knowing more about a culture and its people? The answer is simple, by interacting directly with these people and learning from them. Apart from the awesome educational facilities, the living cost in the university and China as a whole are relatively cheap. This will help me to be less burdened about financial constraints and to be more concentrated on my studies. Moreover, the presence of a culturally diverse environment with a lot of international students will enable me to be more open-minded. In addition to that, the African students present at the university will give me the impression of “being at home”. That is to say, I know that if I am given the chance to study in such a wonderful university with the presence of outstanding facilities, the highly qualified lecturers and with my personal efforts, I will be able to achieve my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering with flying colors.
