I have chosen Minzu University because as a South African I am aware of the importance of accepting and embracing diversity. I believe that in order to receive a holistic education it is necessary to be in an integrated environment as is embodied by the Minzu University mission. In studying at Minzu University I hope to immerse myself fully in China, its culture and heritage and in order to do that I want to learn all the parts of the country including that of its minorities.
