For non-degree programs
Usually, non-degree language and culture programs are the easiest to apply. You can apply to the program as long as you have obtained a high school diploma.
It requires
1. Application form
2. Photocopy of passport
3. Passport-size photo
4. Graduation diploma (in English or Chinese only, if it is in another language, a translation version is required. Some universities may require a notarized copy from the local Chinese Embassy and a copy or original by mail. If you haven’t graduated, most universities will require a pre-graduation certificate.)
5. Official transcript of records (in English and Chinese only, if it is in another language, a translation version is required. Some universities will require a notarized copy or original from the local Chinese Embassy by mail.)
6. Physical examination form (within 6 months, you can download this document through this website)
7. Non-criminal certificate notarized and certified by the Chinese Embassy (some universities will require one)

For bachelor degree programs
If you want to apply for a bachelor degree, there are more requirements you need to fulfill, like a study plan and proof of language proficiency.

Other documents
Some universities may require some other documents, such as
1. Financial statement (e.g. bank statements and a certain amount of deposit required)
2. Letter of financial support (e.g. letter of guarantee from parents who can support their child’s studying abroad)
Besides, you can apply for a Chinese government scholarship or CSC scholarship if you have obtained the pre-admission letter from the university in China.
When applying for a university in China, you can ask favor from a third-party agency if you cannot handle it properly. For your doubt on the application for a Chinese university in traditional Chinese medicine, there is usually no such special requirements as far as I know.
