To begin with, Shanghai University is a well established university with exceptional rankings from QS and The Times. It produces excellent results for its students as well as being one of the top universities in China, it is also one of the key universities in Project 211, this alone makes it one of the best choices one could make when looking for higher education. Shanghai University is led by highly educated people, not to mention the president of the institute being a famous educator, social activist and scientist. It is but only a dream to study under the guidance and leadership of such people.

The university has excellent study facilities which boast not one, but two world class libraries filled with information to further enhance our knowledge. The sporting facilities are excellent and they include a gymnasium as well as a soccer court and a playground, no better recreational activity than a game of soccer with friends, and this alone makes Shanghai University a top pick.

As an international student, where I stay is very important, the University holds very beautiful and homely campuses which would make moving in and being comfortable easier and faster.

My main reason for choosing Shanghai University however is that it caters for everyone in the sense that it offers quality education at a very low cost. It is a 5 star university which allows people from all over the world to come study there due to its affordability in tuition and accommodation.
