Dear Sir, Currently student in computer science, I just finished my computer science Bachelor’s degree at the University of Rouen, and I come to you today, the Jilin University, because I’m interested by the program you are offering in your master’s degree. The eastern countries have always attracted my attention, but China, was definitely the one that fascinated me the most thanks to its ability to combine a beautiful culture that managed to live for centuries, and the incredible new expansion of technology in our daily lives. This mix between so different world could have been the start of big issues in the country’s economy, but instead it helped it to become one of the most powerful country of the world. I started to study in computer science by passion, because I love to work on projects to create environments, software, application or websites that can help people through their everyday life. And it is with ambition and motivation that I want to help people in such a modern, technologically advanced and big country that China is. I have been increasing my rigor and modularity in my programming for years through my studies in the University Institute of Technology of Le Havre for my University Technology Diploma and in the University of Rouen for my License’s degree. Software architecture and WEB languages areinseparable fields of the computer science, they woke up my curiosity years ago when I was trying to figure out by myself, before my superior studies, how they could work. They occupied a big place in my curriculum and opened me to a deeper world where computer science meets up with theoretical math, a domain where I was able to have a better understanding of so many computes done with theory of languages and theory of graphs. All of these subjects have passionate me for years whether at school creating graph creator software, board games in JAVA, websites, databases or at home creating a sudoku resolver software for my grandma in my free time for example. I used as much of what I learned in school as I could in both of my three months internships, one was in the international company ASSA ABLOY, and the other one in the nuclear power generation center of EDF of Penly. I worked there on different part of my studies, with databases, VB.net and many others. My ambition is to keep on my studies in development and software conception and I would be pleased to increase my knowledge about them by following the courses in your Master’s degree.
