I have chosen to apply for Ningbo University, because I really like its module system of study. I specially appreciate the wide range of offered modules and the freedom in making your study plan. Many of the modules offered are unique for me, because there is no equivalent at my home university. Very important for me is also an excellent rating for teaching of the Mechanical Engineering & Automation department and the overall friendly atmosphere at both the university as well as the city. I am applying for my chosen course because I feel that they fit excellently into my career path, and also because I believe it will challenge and stimulate me, and help me to reach my potential. I want to develop not only as a student but as an individual. I want to be part of a university that fully supports its students and encourages excellence. I want to succeed; I want to go the extra mile. I want to go to university to further my education, to grow as a student and as a person, and to gain independence in my education. I do not want to be average, I do not believe in just being average. I want to rise above and beyond and achieve things I never thought I can do. In ten years' time, I want to turn round and say I had the best time of my life and, come out of university with no regrets. I want to walk away with a professional qualification and a smile on my face. One of the things that have drawn me to the course I am applying for is that it offers a broad selection of modules. The course offers me a chance to study further the areas that I am interested in. I have a strong desire to learn, broaden, and to sharpen my thinking and learning skills. I fully understand how challenging my chosen course will be, as Mechanical Engineering & Automation never stays the same; it is forever diversifying and changing. I want to prepare myself as best as I can for a successful career within the industry, and I feel that by going to university, this will allow me that step up to do so.
